SST 430 is a corrosion resistant stainless steel grade. This ferritic magnetic grade is the most popular of all straight chromium stainless steels. SST 430 features an attractive sheen and increased oxidation resistance due to the higher presence of chrome. SST 430 is often referred to as "17 chrome stainless".
