SST 304, SST 304 ELC and SST 304 H Stainless Steel

SST 304 grade is the most commonly produced and used of all stainless steels. An austenitic 18-8 grade, SST 304 is non-magnetic, corrosion resistant and extremely versatile. Versions SST 304 ELC, 304 dual L, and SST 304 H are also available from Skorr Steel.

• Applications of this grade range from industrial to ornamental. SST 304 is commonly supplied to general line machine shops and end users as well as manufacturers and service centers .
• For applications where SST 304L cannot be used, Skorr Steel supplies SST 304 H. This grade contains a carbon minimum of .040. We also carry the formable grade SST 304 ELC (Extra Low Carbon) which is optimal for welding purposes. This grade contains a maximum .030 carbon count. SST 304, 304 ELC, 304 dual L and 304 H are oxidation resistant and reliable in many settings.
